Our Inspiration and Muse

Remy is our amazing family dog.  

We adopted him from our local humane society in December 2010.  He had been found wandering the streets of San Mateo as a tiny pup all alone (yay puppy dog rescue!).  They did not know anything more about him.  It took two trips there to finally adopt him - the 1st time we noticed him, but he had no name or info card on his cage, and we were originally told that meant he was already adopted.  The 2nd time we visited a couple weeks later, he was still there, so we asked about him again.  Finally a manager dug out some paperwork - turns out he had had slipped between the cracks, never been named or listed, just a number! After signing up to promise he would be neutered and go through a 6 week training course, we took him home! 

He's now the sweetest old man dog who loves us all, every day, rain or shine.  He has developed some medical issues - allergies, skin issues and arthritis all over. We've learned so much from caring for him all these years! We want to keep him comfortable and happy as long as feasible - Remy is our inspiration and muse!
